BRED?

Post by KIONG on Fri Apr 18, 2008 5:11 am

Any idea whether any boxfishes have been successfully bred in captivity? I always have the idea that ostraciidae are hard to be bred

I don't think they ever have been. They always seemed like they would be hard to breed to me too.

HAHA, I'm really into breeding. Yea, I read it somewhere from some altas for saltwater fishes, saying that they've been bred before. And rumors had it that some public aquarium have longhorn cowfish offsprings..

Oh well, since this is the forum dedicated to cowfish!! let's start making official documentation yea.

p.s. PF is this the first forum for cowfish?

Kiong i think you should try breeding some lactoria fornasini. that would make a great article. Do you have them over there?
